Following junior football is a way of life for many fans – so it is important that they are doing so at a top-notch ground.

But what are the best grounds in the Scottish junior game?

After getting opinions from junior fans – here is the top five:

5 – Troon FC, Portland Park

Troon currently sit 6th in the West Super Premier Division and ply their trade at Portland Park.

Troon have played at Portland Park since 1946 after the side were established in the juniors just after the war.

The maximum capacity of the stadium is 2,000.

4 – Linlithgow Rose, Prestonfield

The Rose are 10th place in the East Super League playing out of Prestonfield.

Linlithgow have played at Prestonfield since 1949 and the stadium holds 3,500.

3 – Irvine Meadow, Meadow Park

Irvine Meadow sit 4th in the West Super First Division after being relegated from the Premier Division last season.

Their home ground, Meadow Park, holds upwards of 5,000 people and is used for a lot of cup finals.

2 – Auchinleck Talbot, Beechwood Park

Talbot are 3rd in the West Super Premier Division and they sit just three points off leaders Rob Roy with a game in hand.

They have played at Beechwood Park since 1909 and it holds 4,000.

1 – Pollok, Newlandsfield Park

Pollok sit 4th in the West Super Premier Division and play at Newlandsfield Park.

They have played here since 1928 and the maximum capacity is 4,000.
